Problem:

When John from Fence Tech first reached out in early 2021, his business lacked a clear visual foundation. While he needed a website to establish an online presence, there was no existing visual branding to support it, no logo, no defined color palette, and no cohesive look that represented the business. This made it difficult to communicate professionalism, trust, and consistency across marketing materials. Additionally, there was untapped potential in showcasing his work visually, as no professional photography, video, or promotional assets had yet been developed.

Our Role:

byD’zign partnered closely with Fence Tech from the very beginning, serving as both a creative and strategic guide. Our role included leading the discovery process, developing the company’s visual identity, and designing and building a professional website that aligned with the brand. We also produced on-site photography and video to support marketing efforts and later expanded our involvement to include ongoing social media marketing. Throughout the process, we focused on creating a cohesive, scalable presence that could grow alongside the business.

Solution:

We began by guiding John through our Discovery Process to better understand his business, goals, and preferences. Starting with his color choices of blue and yellow, we developed a complete visual identity, including a logo and cohesive branding system. From there, we designed and built a new website starting with a strong landing page that reflected both the brand and the services Fence Tech provides. To further strengthen his marketing presence, we captured on-site photography and video for promotional use. As the business continued to grow, our work expanded into social media marketing, allowing Fence Tech to maintain a consistent and professional presence across multiple platforms.

Logo:

The Fence Tech logo was designed to communicate strength, reliability, and precision—core values of a fencing company that takes pride in doing the job right the first time. The fence icon serves as the primary visual cue, immediately identifying the industry while symbolizing security, structure, and craftsmanship. The evenly spaced pickets reflect attention to detail, consistency, and the high standards Fence Tech applies to every project. The circular shape behind the fence introduces balance and stability, reinforcing the idea of thoughtful planning and solid construction. It also creates a strong, self-contained mark that works well as a standalone icon for social media, signage, and branded materials. The blue and yellow color palette was intentionally selected to balance trust and visibility. Blue conveys dependability, professionalism, and confidence, while yellow adds energy and approachability—ensuring the brand feels both reliable and accessible. The high contrast between these colors helps the logo remain bold and legible across both digital and physical applications. Typography was chosen to reflect the engineering and technical aspects of fencing. The clean, structured letterforms emphasize precision, alignment, and clarity—mirroring Fence Tech’s commitment to quality workmanship and exact execution. The typography reinforces the brand’s philosophy that every fence should be built with purpose, accuracy, and long-term durability in mind. Overall, the logo establishes a strong, recognizable identity that positions Fence Tech as a detail-oriented, quality-driven company—one that values craftsmanship, thoughtful design, and lasting results.

This brand intro video was created to introduce Fence Tech as a professional, quality-driven fencing company. The video highlights the company’s craftsmanship, attention to detail, and commitment to doing the job right the first time. Using authentic visuals and real-world settings, the video establishes trust, reinforces the Fence Tech brand, and provides a clear, approachable introduction for potential customers across digital platforms.

Our approach to business photography for Fence Tech was focused on capturing real-world images that showcase the range of services they provide and the quality of their work. Rather than producing highly stylized or studio-based photography, we documented projects on site to create a practical and versatile image library. These photos were intentionally captured to serve as a flexible pool of visual assets that could be used across the website, social media, and promotional materials. By photographing different fence styles, environments, and installation details, we helped Fence Tech build a collection of authentic visuals that support ongoing marketing needs and reinforce their commitment to quality workmanship.
