Project Overview:
August 16, 2022
Problem:
Packaging Express is a long-established, highly capable manufacturing company with decades of experience producing custom corrugated packaging solutions. However, their digital presence did not reflect the scale, speed, or sophistication of their operation.
Packaging Express approached byD’zign to rebuild their website and develop professional graphic design, photography, and videography that would accurately represent their manufacturing capabilities and support the launch of new production equipment.
At the time, the company was preparing to introduce a major investment in new manufacturing technology, one of the fastest box-making machines in Colorado. While this new capability significantly elevated their production capacity, there was no clear visual or digital story in place to communicate this advancement to customers, partners, or the broader business community.
Their existing website and marketing assets:
-
Did not showcase the size, efficiency, or workflow of their facility
-
Lacked professional photography and video highlighting real production processes
-
Did not clearly communicate innovation, speed, or competitive advantage
-
Were not positioned to support long-term brand credibility or growth
Packaging Express needed more than a website update, they needed a cohesive visual and digital strategy that aligned their online presence with the reality of their operation: modern, fast, reliable, and proudly Colorado-based.
Our challenge was to translate industrial performance into a compelling digital experience, while creating visual assets that could support web, social media, and future marketing initiatives—without disrupting ongoing production.
Our Role:
byD’zign served as a full-service creative partner for Packaging Express, supporting the project from strategy through execution across multiple mediums.
Our role included:
-
Rebuilding and hosting a modern, scalable website that clearly communicates Packaging Express’s capabilities, services, and manufacturing strengths.
-
Developing supporting visual assets and custom packaging graphics to reinforce brand consistency and highlight new production technology.
-
Conducting on-site industrial photography to capture authentic visuals of the facility, production floor, team, and equipment.
-
Producing professional video content to showcase the launch of new machinery, support website storytelling, and provide reusable promotional assets for marketing and social media.
Throughout the project, our focus was on creating real, performance-driven visuals and digital experiences that accurately reflect Packaging Express’s operation—delivering assets designed for long-term use, flexibility, and growth.
Solution:
To address Packaging Express’s challenges, byD’zign developed a comprehensive visual and digital solution designed to accurately reflect the company’s scale, capabilities, and investment in advanced manufacturing technology.
We began by rebuilding and hosting a modern, performance-driven website that clearly communicates Packaging Express’s services, production capabilities, and commitment to quality. The website was structured to support long-term growth, improve usability, and create a strong first impression for prospective customers and partners.
To bring the brand to life, we conducted on-site photography and videography inside their Colorado Springs facility. This allowed us to capture authentic visuals of their production floor, team, and newly installed EMBA box-making machine, showcasing speed, efficiency, and real-world operation rather than stock imagery or generic visuals.
Video content was strategically produced to serve multiple purposes:
-
Highlight the launch of the new high-performance box-making machine
-
Support website storytelling and homepage engagement
-
Provide reusable assets for social media and promotional campaigns
In addition to digital assets, we supported Packaging Express with graphic design and custom packaging visuals, including a branded promotional box created specifically to spotlight their new equipment and reinforce their reputation for innovation.
Every element of the solution was designed to work together, website, video, photography, and graphics, creating a cohesive brand experience that aligns Packaging Express’s digital presence with the reality of their manufacturing operation: fast, efficient, and built for scale.

Website Design Architecture:
The Packaging Express website was architected to clearly communicate manufacturing capabilities while supporting long-term growth, usability, and brand credibility. The structure prioritizes clarity, performance, and storytelling; ensuring visitors can quickly understand services, scale, and competitive advantages.
The site was designed with a clean, industrial-forward layout that balances technical information with strong visual storytelling. Page hierarchy and navigation were intentionally organized to guide users through key areas of the business, including services, capabilities, equipment, and company history, without overwhelming the visitor.
High-impact photography and video content were integrated directly into the site architecture to replace generic visuals and create an authentic, behind-the-scenes look at the facility, production floor, and machinery. These visual assets were strategically placed to support engagement, reinforce credibility, and visually communicate speed, precision, and scale.
From a technical standpoint, the website was built to be:
-
Scalable – allowing new equipment, services, or marketing initiatives to be added without restructuring
-
Performance-focused – optimized for fast load times and smooth media integration
-
Content-flexible – supporting photography, video, and promotional content across multiple sections
-
Brand-consistent – maintaining a cohesive visual identity across all pages
The overall architecture ensures the website functions not only as a digital brochure, but as a long-term marketing platform; capable of evolving alongside Packaging Express as their manufacturing operation and customer base continue to grow.

Videography:
EMBA Box-Making Machine Promotion
Objective
The primary objective of the EMBA video series was to visually communicate Packaging Express’s investment in advanced manufacturing technology and position the company as a high-speed, high-capability custom packaging manufacturer. The videos were designed to showcase real-world performance, production efficiency, and scale; reinforcing credibility with both existing and prospective customers.
Creative Strategy
Rather than relying on scripted messaging or promotional voiceovers, the creative approach focused on authentic, process-driven storytelling. The EMBA machine was presented in active production, allowing viewers to experience its speed, precision, and output through visual momentum and natural sound.
Each video was intentionally paced to reflect the machine’s performance; fast, efficient, and continuous while maintaining a clean, industrial aesthetic consistent with Packaging Express’s brand.
Visual Direction
-
Emphasis on motion and throughput, highlighting the machine in full operation
-
Close-up shots to showcase precision, material handling, and mechanical detail
-
Wide shots to communicate scale and production environment
-
Minimal distractions to keep focus on performance and capability
Lighting, camera angles, and shot sequencing were carefully chosen to enhance clarity while preserving the authenticity of a working manufacturing floor.
Content Structure
The video series was developed as a modular content set, allowing Packaging Express to use individual videos independently or collectively across multiple platforms. Each piece was structured to:
-
Capture attention quickly
-
Demonstrate machine speed and efficiency
-
Reinforce operational credibility
-
Support web, social media, and sales conversations
Intended Use
The EMBA video content was created to support:
-
Website integration (homepage and capability pages)
-
Social media promotion
-
Sales and customer presentations
-
Long-term marketing assets tied to equipment investment
By producing multiple focused videos, Packaging Express gained flexible visual assets that could be reused and repurposed without additional production disruption.
Outcome
The final video series delivers a clear visual narrative: Packaging Express invests in technology that improves speed, efficiency, and customer value. The videos translate complex industrial performance into compelling visual content, strengthening brand perception and reinforcing trust through transparency and authenticity.
Business Photography:
Product & Packaging Photography
To accurately represent Packaging Express’s custom box products, byD’zign developed a clean, product-focused photography approach designed to highlight structure, craftsmanship, and versatility across multiple packaging applications.
Each box was photographed with the intent of isolating the product itself; removing visual distractions and allowing form, construction, and print detail to take center stage. After capture, backgrounds were carefully removed and replaced with a clean, neutral presentation, enhanced by subtle drop-shadows to create depth while maintaining a polished, professional appearance.
This approach allowed Packaging Express’s products to:
-
Be viewed clearly and consistently across the website
-
Maintain visual cohesion regardless of box size, style, or application
-
Appear refined and dimensional without overpowering the brand aesthetic
By combining controlled photography with intentional post-production, the final imagery presents each box as a finished, premium product, not just a manufacturing output. The result is a library of product visuals that support website storytelling, sales conversations, and marketing materials while remaining flexible for future use.
This photography strategy ensures Packaging Express’s packaging solutions are communicated with the same level of quality and precision that goes into producing them.
